In a heartwarming display of community outreach, Vivat Lumina, a Non-Profit Organisation based in Nigeria, recently hosted pupils from Makoko, one of Lagos’s most underprivileged communities, at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport. The visit was a unique opportunity for the children to explore the bustling hub of aviation, as most had never been to an airport before.
Vivat Lumina organized a tour of the terminal, the airport facilities and even hosted them on seats on an airplane giving the young pupils an insight into the world of air travel. The event aimed to inspire the children, broaden their horizons, and expose them to potential career paths.
